NEEDS & GOALS
Create a brand campaign to help grow brand awareness and increase the frequency of new and repeat bookings.
Cherry, now called Cherry Red, is a nail service that lets people order a Pro Cherry nail technician to their space like the delivery service, Door Dash. Being able to order your nail service to your home provides a safe environment that fits with a busy schedule. Right now, it is a smaller brand only servicing Dallas, Austin, Houston, and surrounding areas. Cherry Red is different than other at-home services because it is completely waterless and has one-time use tools to prevent contamination. This is more hygienic and more effective to be an at-home service. Cherry Red is unique by now allowing you to pick your Pro Cherry nail technician before you book your appointment.
App Design
Booking an appointment is now easy by allowing the user to browse the Pro Cherry catalog to pick the Cherry that fits their needs best. From there they can pick a time, date, and location that fits their busy schedule.
Mobile Branding
The branding and contact info on their vehicle also serves as a form of identification to let clients know they are with the company as well as serving as a moving billboard when driving around town and to an appointment.
Personal Brand Identification
Pro Cherrys will now have a personal extension of the brand, with a company business card to share their work on the app. This will help to spread brand awareness and assist when trying to book a client.
Merchandising
Cherry Red will now have a personalized red polish that matches the brand's Pantone color. With the saying “cherry red nails”, people often think of a bright true red shade with an emphasis on “cherry” meaning top-tier quality. This product would be for sale to purchase as well as for Pro Cherrys to use on clients.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Having a brand presence on social media will allow Pro Cherrys to share their work, and help boost the frequency of appointments and brand knowledge to gain clients for the company.

Logo Draft Process
Starting from the original sketch, the idea of having the logo appear to be painted with a gloss was the first concept.
The look of having a flat color was a little more clean and eye-catching. Thin black lines were then applied to mimic nail line art. At this same time, the name was changed to "Cherry Red" instead of just "Cherry" to link back to the name many people use to describe the bright red nails they desire. The text was then added in varying places to see which application worked best in trying to resemble a floor mat for a front door to a house. Still, this was a little too busy and proportions needed to be ironed out to have the logo proportionate.
The last row was the closest edit before the final logo. The overall design was refined to be easier to read at a smaller size as well as a doorknob as a small circle was added to help show the relationship between the window, door, and the floor mat name. The shade of red was also brightened to match what so many people envision as the color "Cherry Red". The leaf was also changed in shape and size to still carry the viewer's eye around, but not block everything in together to just fill space.
Final Logo
The final logo uses both a bright red and a white interchangeably so that the mark can be used on multiple colors surfaces as a background.
